Job Title: Mobile Retail Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Retail Team Manager to join our team at Goodwill of the Great Plains. As a Mobile Retail Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in processing donated goods and ensuring that production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the activities of the mobile retail processing team to ensure efficient operations and meet production goals.
  • Work within established systems of continuous improvement to optimize processes and improve quality.
  • Inspect produced materials for quality and accuracy, and ensure that all team members are following Goodwill of the Great Plains policies and procedures.
  • Train and evaluate team members, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure that all team members are meeting expectations.
  • Sort, hang, and price donated merchandise, and ensure that all materials are properly stored and secured.
  • Must be able to become forklift certified to load and unload materials as needed, and utilize a pallet jack to move materials from dock areas, dump areas, or storage areas.
  • Communicate effectively with other company departments through email, digital technology, and in meetings, and use technology to conduct store business as needed.
  • Approve timecards on an as needed basis, and coordinate team scheduling and travel arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or High school degree/GED in combination with three years management experience in a related field.
  • Three years of successful manager/supervisory experience, and three years of prior retail sales or production experience.
  • Acceptable criminal background check, and must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, and ability to be certified in forklift operation and safety standards.
