Job Summary:

The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team in a critical role that requires a strong background in physical security, personnel security, and information security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Compliance: Establish and manage secure facilities to ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, including ICD 704 and ICD 705.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Collaborate with the applicable CDM Security Office on all security matters in support of special access program facilities (SAPFs) and sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs).
  • Physical Security Services: Provide physical security services to oversee the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) Enterprise Old Town Revitalization.
  • Site Surveys and Security Planning: Conduct site surveys/visits for new facilities, review, update, process, and submit Statements of Work (SOW), Facility Technical Drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), TEMPEST addendums, concept requests, new facility accreditations, Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWAs), construction security plans, modified security plans, de-accreditations, and security assists visits/inspections (SAVI).
  • Security Guidance and Liaison: Provide physical security guidance to assigned subordinate Special Security Representatives (SSR), act as a liaison to Head Quarters Regional Special Security Office (HQ/RSSO), NSA, DIA, and other Intelligence Agencies as the assignment requires.
  • Security System Management: Manage/maintain the Commands Intrusion Detection System (IDS); to include overseeing system installations, maintenance, ensuring repairs are conducted, alarm response tests are scheduled, and manage the commands Contingency Plan.
  • Personnel Security: Process personnel security background investigative paperwork, which includes fingerprinting and conducting security prescreening interviews, and forwarding completed document packages to the appropriate processing activity.
  • Cyber Intelligence: Research and disseminate validated Cyber Intelligence products and review classified web sites.
  • Security Support: Support several GENSER security spaces and SCIFs to include courier runs, implementing physical security requirements, and coordination of large symposium/meetings.
  • Travel and Foreign Contact: Process foreign travel and foreign contact forms.
  • Research and Technology Protection: Provide recommendations and guidance on Research and Technology Protection (RTP) requirements and systems engineering-based analysis supporting technology protection measures, Program Protection Plan development, and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) methods.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related discipline - or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in security or cyber security.
  • Security Clearance: Must have active Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility upon hire.
  • Certifications: CISSP or other advanced relevant Cyber/IA certifications required.
  • Prior Experience: Prior military or DoD experience desired.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience with any of the following would be a major plus:
