Salary InformationThe salary range for this position is $20.63 - $25.27 per hour, with an additional 10% shift differential for swing shift work. We offer immediate eligibility for our comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with up to a 4% company match, up to 144 hours of paid time off, and 11 paid holidays per year.
Job DescriptionAs a Machine Operator at AGC Electronics America, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture Silicon Carbide (SiC) products. You will also clean and finish part processes in preparation for the next operation, perform routine setup of fixtures, tools, and machines according to blueprints and work instructions, and shadow machinists during processing through functional procedures and machining processes such as milling, turning, shaping, drilling, and surface grinding.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, be able to read blueprints, and have a working knowledge of GD&T. You should also have beginner proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and use of web browsers, be willing and able to work overtime as necessary, and be proficient in English to read, write, and comprehend instructions and safety protocols. Additionally, you must be able to work in a variety of positions such as sitting, standing, bending, and moving between workstations for extended periods of time, and have a working knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
