Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicles by performing quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs. They will also diagnose and repair vehicle issues to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  • Determine the root cause of vehicle malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to manufacturer specifications.
  • Document all work performed on work orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Leverage expertise in electrical systems, welding, and diagnostic software to resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-year school and 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
  • ASE certifications (Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks) are preferred but not required.
