Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Ambassador to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and address safety concerns and implement improvements.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a high-volume setting.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or equivalent work experience preferred.
