About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to work with our pediatric patients, providing them with exceptional care and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in a pediatric setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
