We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System in Humble, Texas.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for simulating treatment set-ups, performing dosimetric calculations, applying radiation therapy treatments, and assisting with patient care management.

Key Responsibilities:- Simulate treatment set-ups according to physician instructions.
- Perform dosimetric calculations under the supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, using either manual or computerized dose calculations.
- Deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy accurately.
- Assist in Brachytherapy procedures.
- Warm up treatment machines/simulators and check all safety and operational procedures; report any erratic operation to the physicist.
- Verify doses through barometer and thermometer measurements; report any discrepancies to the physicist.
- A graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Certified Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technologists (ARRT-T) or temporary certification for recent graduates, up to 60 days post-graduation and licensed by the Texas Department of Health (CMRT).
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.
- An estimated annual salary range of $75,000 to $110,000 based on experience.
