Job Title: Full-Time ASL Fluent School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a skilled and fluent American Sign Language (ASL) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team in Upland, CA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing and have a strong background in ASL to effectively communicate and deliver therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs, particularly in students who use ASL.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate ASL.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing ASL as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students educational and communication goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of goals and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP in California.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required.
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
