Ready Mix Driver

Operate a commercial truck equipped with an auxiliary mixer to deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites.
Main Responsibilities- Embody the company's safety culture and adhere to defined accountabilities.
- Support and promote the company's core values, vision, and mission.
- Maneuver the truck under the loading hopper to receive materials and start the mixer.
- Slump loads to specifications and requirements.
- Drive the truck to the location for unloading and ensure safe conditions at the job site.
- Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
- Assemble chutes and attach them to the truck; operate controls to release concrete down the truck chute.
- Perform daily pre and post-trip safety checks on equipment and truck.
- Clean the truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening.
- May operate other equipment such as loaders, skid steers, fork lifts, and dump trucks.
- Assist with the form, pour, and strip of precast products.
- May spray surfaces of the truck with protective/cleaning compound.
- Assist work crews as required and maintain plant and equipment.
- Maintain necessary logs, timecards, and other required paperwork.
- Class B CDL with Air Brakes and a clean driving history.
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Basic industrial truck maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Prior experience working with concrete production, construction, and/or related fields preferred.
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record and comply with applicable FMCSA CDL driver requirements.
- Ability to work with multiple types of individuals and interact professionally with internal and external customers.
- Ability to read and write, and understand basic documents.
