JOB SUMMARY FOR NURSES
  • This role involves evaluating patient and family health issues and resources, taking a leadership role in the creation, execution, and assessment of a nursing care plan delivered by the nursing team. Additionally, it includes providing direct nursing care and interventions to specific patient populations. The position requires services to various age groups, demonstrating an understanding of the functional and developmental stages of those served. Active participation in fulfilling the organization’s mission is expected, along with behavior that aligns with core values while supporting strategic objectives and the Performance Improvement Process (PIP).
QUALIFICATIONS FOR NURSES
  • Education/Training/Experience:
  • Required:
    • Graduation from an accredited RN School of Nursing
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred:
    • Certification in a clinical specialty when eligible.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements:
    • Current State RN license is mandatory.
    • Completion of Basic Cardiology Course within 6 months of hire.
    • Completion of ACLS within 6 months of hire and ongoing maintenance.
    • Annual skills validation is required.
  • Employment Status:
    • Non-Exempt Hourly
