Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, and mirrors, utilizing appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and guidelines for the safe use of cleaning supplies.
  • Strip and remake beds, ensuring fresh linens are provided, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Dust and polish all surfaces, including furniture, frames, and shelves, to maintain a pristine appearance.
  • Vacuum and clean floors, as well as manage waste disposal throughout guest rooms.
  • Restock amenities and supplies in guest accommodations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Conduct visual inspections of rooms to uphold cleanliness and aesthetic standards.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain a consistent work schedule.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the housekeeping department.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Self-motivated with a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues.
  • Familiarity with cleaning agents and equipment operation.
  • Physical capability to handle equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
