About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer with a focus on highway design to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This position requires expertise in transportation infrastructure projects, collaborating with state Departments of Transportation (DOTs), and utilizing industry-leading software tools such as MicroStation. You will play a critical role in the design and development of transportation systems, focusing on roadways and highways to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support the design and development of highway and transportation projects.
  • Collaborate closely with state DOTs and other key stakeholders to meet project objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize MicroStation for design modelling, analysis, and project delivery.
  • Develop detailed construction documents, technical reports, and design calculations.
  • Ensure that project designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
  • Support or lead presentations to clients and attend project-related meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited institution.
  • 2-16 years of experience in highway design or related civil engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and other relevant design/engineer software.
  • EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • Experience working with state DOTs is highly desirable.
