Radiology Technologist with Diagnostic Imaging Expertise

Union General Hospital is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist with Computed Tomography Experience to ensure quality diagnostic imaging services for patients of all ages. This position requires a team player who can work on all shifts, including holidays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Cooperate and coordinate with radiology department members, nursing services, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Operate x-ray equipment in accordance with radiation safety guidelines, adhering to ALARA principles and prioritizing patient safety.
- Maintain required records, logs, and monthly reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Greet patients, prepare them for radiologic procedures, explain procedures to reduce anxiety, enter and validate patient demographics, and confirm that all ordered exams are completed.
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program.
- Credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with willingness to complete registry within 90 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification within 60 days of hire.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience. Union General Hospital offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
