About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a part-time, days-only schedule. As a vital member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures with precision and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality echocardiography and vascular ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and guidelines.
  • Analyze images and provide accurate diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and pathophysiology to ensure thorough understanding of procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective scanning protocols to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Certificate in Medical Sonography - Vascular (RVT) and Cardiac (RDCS or RCS) Specific (RVT, RDCS or RCS) required at hire.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in dual-modality based on department criteria.
  • New grad PRN staff must have completed student rotation with NGMC within the prior year.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year clinical echo or vascular experience.
Physical Demands

This role requires standing, walking, and kneeling frequently, as well as occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a safe, comfortable, and clean environment for patients.
