Pool Safety Specialist

The City of Dover is looking for an experienced Swim Coach to teach all levels of swimming skills to individuals ranging from infants to senior citizens.
This is a part-time position with varying hours and a competitive hourly rate of $16.49. The position is open until filled.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective safety protocols to prevent accidents at the pool.
- Conduct swimming lessons and workshops for individuals of various ages and abilities.
- Assist in coordinating aquatics programs and facility maintenance as needed.
- Collect fees for memberships, lockers, and facility use.
- Respond to public inquiries about aquatics programs made by phone, correspondence, or in person.
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in teaching aquatic programs. Certificates in Lifeguard Training, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), CPR, and First Aid are also required.
You should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work safely in changing environments and lead others in techniques and methods used in various work activities.
