Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Cardiovascular to join our dynamic team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. As a member of our Invasive Cardiology department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program.
About the RoleThis per diem opportunity offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced environment while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives. Your expertise in catheterization and angiography laboratory procedures will be invaluable in helping us deliver top-notch care to our community.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Monitor patients' psychosocial needs and provide education on disease processes, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Implement discharge planning and documentation, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology to enhance patient care and safety, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular imaging.
- Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in catheterization and angiography laboratory settings, preferably with electrophysiology experience.
- Graduate of an approved radiology/cardiology program or military equivalent program.
- BS in radiology/cardiology services or equivalent.
- A competitive estimated salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
