  • Lead and oversee substation projects, encompassing the planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Develop and implement project blueprints, timelines, and financial plans, and supervise progress to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
  • Prepare and/or supervise the creation of detailed project records, including specifications and tender documents
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, designers, and CAD operators within the team
  • Evaluate and approve engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications for alignment with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical power systems, transmission, and distribution grids

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Mandatory possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Over 5 years of experience in substation engineering and project administration in the utilities or energy sector
  • Profound knowledge of substation design principles, apparatus, and construction methodologies
  • Proficiency in fundamental operations of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
