Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of hire date required.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse licensure obtained prior to hire date required.
- One year of recent experience in Critical Care/PCU strongly preferred.
- Travelers must be willing to travel 50+ miles from permanent residence.
