Job Type: Direct Hire with Benefits

Shift Information:

12-hour 3rd Shift rotates between Week 1 and Week 2. Week 1: Mon/Tues/Sat/Sun and Week 2: Wed/Thurs/Fri. Every other weekend OFF. Shift hours are 7pm - 7am.

Additional Pay Info: $1,000 Signing Bonus and $500 Referral opportunities are available.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Inspection SAP Fitter to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and completing projects as directed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Troubleshoots and repairs machine malfunctions. Performs preventive maintenance.
  2. Locates and repairs electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems.
  3. Completes projects as directed (machine moves, modifications, installations; material handling; remodeling work area, etc.)
  4. Assists in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates.
  5. Ensures that job functions maintain or improve product quality.
  6. Performs Preventative Maintenance functions on equipment.
  7. Completes work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  1. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
  2. Advanced education (associate degree) in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  3. Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
  4. Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC.
  5. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing are required.
