Position Summary: As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Plant Operations Maintenance team within a hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and optimizing computerized systems related to maintenance operations, construction, financial management, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a computerized accounting system for daily operational expenses, including utilities and labor.
  • Manage the computerized maintenance management system and ensure all data and software systems are functioning effectively.
  • Organize and maintain office records, including blueprints, manufacturer libraries, and filing systems.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports on operational costs and quality assurance metrics.
  • Supervise and evaluate office staff and other personnel as directed by management.
  • Assist in the training and scheduling of team members.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry across all systems.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in meetings and take minutes as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and leadership qualities.
  • Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications.
  • Previous experience in Facilities Management is highly desirable.
