Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Children's Hospital Colorado. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Summary:The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care in a surgical setting, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in a surgical setting, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Monitor and manage the patient and operative environment to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- One year of perioperative nursing experience or successful completion of a perioperative course.
- Current State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
