Overview:
As a key member of the High Impact Unit (HIU), you will report directly to the Vice President and lead a team of 5 Complex Adjusters in managing intricate commercial liability claims.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance and development of a specialized claims team, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of complex commercial liability claims.
- Foster talent development by providing opportunities for team members to enhance their skills.
- Monitor team performance, identify trends, and address root causes of issues, escalating matters as necessary.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by advocating for process efficiencies.
- Cultivate an engaged employee culture by demonstrating a commitment to effective leadership and employee recognition.
- Ensure excellence in claims customer service by understanding and exceeding stakeholder expectations.
- Address escalated complaints and inquiries effectively, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Align business unit goals with broader departmental and corporate objectives.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within the insurance sector.
- 7-10 years of progressively responsible claims experience across various casualty lines.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated ambition and drive to achieve outstanding results.
- High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
- Adaptability to change and openness to constructive feedback.
- Advanced understanding of industry practices and principles.
- Multi-state adjuster licenses are advantageous.
