Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the branch manager and assistant, the Financial Services Supervisor is responsible for delivering prompt, efficient, and friendly service to customers. This role involves managing cash transactions and identifying customer needs to recommend suitable banking services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established policies and procedures as directed by management.
  • Ensure that each personal banker/teller maintains accurate balances and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Accountable for achieving monthly new account production targets set by upper management.
  • Provide mentorship and support for the development and sales performance of personal bankers.
  • Facilitate the sale and preparation of various financial instruments, including money orders, cashier's checks, bank-to-bank wires, savings bonds, travelers' checks, and certificates of deposit.
  • Deliver banking services to a diverse clientele, including a significant Spanish-speaking demographic.
  • Maintain a neat and organized teller area in compliance with bank policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing or walking for extended periods, operating a computer and other office equipment, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. First Convenience Bank is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of cash handling experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with company policy.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with banking regulations and laws is advantageous.
