Rotational Environmental Specialist

Koch Capabilities is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rotational Environmental Specialist to join our team in Summer 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the Rotational EHS Professional (REP) Program, a two-year development program that provides hands-on experience in environmental initiatives at multiple sites.

Program Overview

The REP Program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of environmental practices and regulations. As a Rotational Environmental Specialist, you will be assigned to two host sites, where you will support day-to-day environmental initiatives and participate in larger environmental projects. This role offers limitless opportunities to gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and network with personnel from various sites.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze process and environmental trends to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Participate in water, waste, and air reporting, as well as government auditing and compliance.
  • Contribute to EH&S audit teams, incident investigations, and projects requiring environmental expertise.
  • Develop your knowledge of risk-planning tools and regulatory frameworks, including the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.
  • Support operating sites by maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and providing environmental expertise.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
  • Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2025.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • Willing and able to relocate per program requirements.
