Position Title: Culinary Expediter

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Culinary Expediter to enhance our operations. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the smooth transfer of orders from the service staff to the kitchen.
  • Verify receipts and prepare orders for table delivery.
  • Monitor order preparation priorities and notify management of any quality concerns or delays.
  • Ensure food presentation meets our high standards of freshness and quality.
  • Assist with final plate presentation, including adding condiments and garnishes.
  • Inspect dishes prior to delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.
  • Deliver orders promptly to guests to uphold efficient service.
  • Relay important information between the kitchen and service staff, especially regarding customer requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Runner/Expo area.
  • Remove any obstacles that may hinder service or food preparation.
  • Conduct inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with quality and sanitation standards, assisting with cleaning as necessary.
  • Keep the work area safe and tidy; perform sweeping and mopping as required.
  • When engaging with customers, uphold the restaurant's reputation for outstanding service.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as organizing and packaging take-out orders.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Perform opening and closing duties and maintain side work efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with food service regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, or pulling heavy objects.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
