Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to become an integral part of our dynamic finance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all tax-related activities within the organization, ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the organization.
- Formulate and execute effective tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring precision, completeness, and timely submission.
- Conduct comprehensive tax research and offer advisory services to the organization.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with international tax laws.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and assist in financial analysis.
- Serve as a liaison with tax authorities and external auditors, representing the organization in tax audits or disputes.
- Stay informed of changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance in financial operations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff on tax-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. An advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the finance sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in tax accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in tax preparation, including corporate, indirect, and international taxation.
- Proficient in tax planning with the ability to develop effective strategies.
- Strong research capabilities to conduct thorough tax research and provide sound advisory services.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex tax information clearly.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to manage sensitive financial information confidentially.
- Proficient in accounting software and relevant computer applications.
