We are seeking a skilled and caring leader to join our management team at our award-winning swim schools in Fort Wayne.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented manager to lead our aquatic center, working closely with children, families, and coworkers. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for kids, customers, and employees.

Emler Swim School invests in its managers' growth and development, offering active participation in a formal professional development program. You will attend weekly meetings with key business leaders at your location, centered around employee management, business growth, and more.

The successful candidate will thrive in an active role, spending each day both in and out of the pool, fully engaged with customers and coworkers. They will have a passion for inspiring and developing strong teams, enjoy fast-track industry training, and be a creative team player who likes to work hard and have fun.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, coach, lead, and inspire a high-performing team - both in aquatics and customer service.
  • Drive exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction by leading by example and working front-line shifts.
  • Calmly respond to challenges, maintain a clean and safe facility, and master Emler Swim School's teaching curriculum and customer service practices.
  • Create a caring, fun, friendly, and effective work environment, manage schedules, and lead regular team meetings.
  • Directly manage key performance indicators to ensure the location operates efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • An undergraduate college degree or 5 years of relevant leadership/work experience.
  • 2-3 years of management experience, supervising a department/division/site/team.
  • A proven track record of leading, motivating, and empowering a team.
  • A genuine love for teaching children and ability to recognize problems and resolve them on the spot.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive starting salary range of $53,750-$58,750, incentivized bonus plan, participation in an Employee Equity Plan, health, dental, vision, and life insurance options, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and 401k with employer matching.
