We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing mammography tests and developing high-quality breast images for radiologists.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform mammography tests and develop images to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Evaluate patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
- Assist physicians in special procedures as needed to ensure adherence to standards.
- Process Quality Control checks on systems and notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
- Maintain proper documentation on the Radiology Information System.
- Communicate with patients and inform them of procedures to be performed.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with employees, medical staff, patients, and visitors.
- Identify ways to improve work processes and customer satisfaction.
- At least 2 years of mammography experience.
- ARRT (M) certification required.
- MRT certificate required, cannot be pending.
- Travel experience strongly encouraged.
- Screening and diagnostic testing and assisting with biopsies and needle localization.
- Work history/resume.
- Home/taxable address.
- Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date).
- License verification.
- References are encouraged.
- MUST disclose any previous Parkland employment history within submitting profile.
- BLS.
- ARRT.
- Texas.
Weekend Requirements: As needed.
On Call Requirements: None.
