Mammography Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing mammography tests and developing high-quality breast images for radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography tests and develop images to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Evaluate patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
  • Assist physicians in special procedures as needed to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Process Quality Control checks on systems and notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
  • Maintain proper documentation on the Radiology Information System.
  • Communicate with patients and inform them of procedures to be performed.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with employees, medical staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Identify ways to improve work processes and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of mammography experience.
  • ARRT (M) certification required.
  • MRT certificate required, cannot be pending.
  • Travel experience strongly encouraged.
  • Screening and diagnostic testing and assisting with biopsies and needle localization.

  • Work history/resume.

  • Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date).
  • License verification.
  • References are encouraged.
  • MUST disclose any previous Parkland employment history within submitting profile.
Certification Requirements:
  • BLS.
