Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Role

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities. You will work closely with our radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and immobilization
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and other imaging modalities
  • Review and analyze images to ensure diagnostic quality
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely results

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent
  • Current certification in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current licensure in the state of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
