The Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) for Hospice is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits, including:

Position Overview:
The first-shift Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) for Hospice operates from our Holland office and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role involves delivering essential services to hospice patients, addressing their individual needs, and enhancing their comfort. The CNA is tasked with monitoring patient conditions, documenting care provided, and reporting observations.

The compensation for the Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) for Hospice ranges from $16.00 to $23.00 per hour, along with a sign-on bonus.
Individuals with relevant experience who do not yet hold certification are encouraged to apply, as we offer support for obtaining certification.
Key Responsibilities of the Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) for Hospice include:
- Delivering personal care services (bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, changing bed linens, hair washing, and nail care);
- Ensuring patient safety;
- Assisting with mobility and prescribed exercises;
- Providing assistance with feeding as necessary;
- Recording and monitoring vital signs;
- Offering respite for caregivers when on-site, as needed;
- Facilitating range of motion exercises and other simple procedures to ensure comfort.
Qualifications for the Certified Nurse's Aide (CNA) for Hospice include:
- A high school diploma or GED;
- A minimum of one year of experience in hospice, long-term care, or home care settings;
- Certification as a Nurse's Aide (CNA) in the State of Michigan. (Certification support is available.)
