We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a part-time weekend schedule. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, promoting their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Conduct vital sign checks, weigh residents, and apply creams/ointments as directed.
- Assist with wound care and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-services, and attend continuing education programs to maintain professional certification or licensure.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Certification or completion of a Michigan-approved CNA training program and eligibility to test.
- One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or healthcare desired (not required).
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
- Verbal communication skills to interact effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Dependability and good attendance.
- Ability to maintain a safe environment for residents and coworkers.
