As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coordination: Act as a leader to field staff and liaison between field operations and management, designating responsibilities and schedules.
  • Problem-Solving and Cost Control: Solve problems and challenges related to construction activities and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report to the General Superintendent, providing regular updates on project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Project Audits and Cost Management: Perform project audits and manage cost control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
  • Construction Oversight: Work with Project Foremen to oversee construction activities at the work site, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard.
  • Scheduling and Maintenance: Maintain look-ahead schedules and weekly reports on routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee QA/QC testing, ensuring projects meet the required standards.
  • Grading and Subgrade Management: Identify grading deviations between plans and field, and prepare subgrade layout, verifying subgrade is correct.
  • Quantity Management: Daily records quantities for each project, reviewing and correcting any differential in yields between plan and installation.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: BA/BS degree desired or minimum of 5 years paving foreman experience required.
  • OSHA Certification: OSHA 30 required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Personal Qualities: Possesses passion, integrity, hard work, and professionalism.
