**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Dental Assistant to support our dental care delivery team at UT Health San Antonio. This role involves coordinating patient appointments, managing inventory, and providing administrative support under direct supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling and managing schedules
  • Manage inventory of equipment and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and completing paperwork
  • Assist with patient charting, oral examinations, and digital x-ray taking
  • Communicate effectively with patients, faculty, and students to ensure seamless service delivery

**Qualifications:**
