Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Substitute Custodian to join our team at San Dieguito Union High School District.

About the Role: As a Substitute Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of classrooms, hallways, and other school areas
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and restock supplies as needed
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
