Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors to optimize equipment layout and workflow.
- Provide decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Assist R&D and contract manufacturers with prototype builds, including surface mount, wave, post-solder operations, and quality control.
- Prepare product and method reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Work hands-on with manufacturing assembly to define, monitor, and improve operational activities and outputs.
- Review defects to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Audit shop floor documentation, assembly instructions, and special instructions.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a similar role.
- Experience in root cause analysis and strong mathematical skills, including statistics.
- Proficiency in programming and operating CAD software tools.
- Proven knowledge and experience in the PCBA manufacturing process.
