About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team at Type One Energy, a mission-driven company dedicated to providing sustainable, affordable fusion power to the world. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing the contractual aspects of our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, negotiate, and implement a wide range of contracts and agreements related to our fusion energy project.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership, Engineers, and legal teams to develop comprehensive contract documents.
  • Manage and track a pipeline of commercial agreements, purchase orders, collaborative agreements, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and assess potential terms and conditions and contractual risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in contract management within engineering or a project delivery environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements within the science or engineering fields.
  • Experience in mitigating contractual risk.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
