Job Summary

The Paramedic is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing total comprehensive care to patients and their families. This includes implementing a plan of care based on the patient's developmental and healthcare needs, as identified through assessment and physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency medical services and healthcare facilities.
  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and socioeconomic status to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Implement physician orders and provide education to patients and their families on healthcare topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.

Requirements

  • 6 months of clinical experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Paramedic required.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as an EMT - Paramedic preferred.
  • Graduate Paramedic required.
  • Associate's degree in Emergency Medical Science preferred.
  • Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic required.
  • Emergency Vehicle Operator Insurance required.
  • Maintain Vehicle Operator Insurability required.

Work Schedule

This position requires working weekend days, with 3-12 hour shifts per week. Every weekend is required, with no call requirements.
