Position Highlights:
We invite our new physicians to enhance their academic journeys by collaborating with laboratory researchers, directing clinical trials, and contributing as primary authors in translational clinical research.
- Focus on Leukemia or Bone Marrow while spearheading innovative research trials.
- Support from Advanced Practice Providers (APP) for clinic and inpatient responsibilities.
- Engagement in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students within our multidisciplinary framework.
- Guaranteed at least 50% protected time for incoming faculty to focus on research and academic pursuits.
Research and Clinical Trials:
This role presents a unique opportunity to lead pioneering research efforts in the field. You will be positioned at the cutting edge of your specialty, enhancing your professional profile and paving the way for future research and academic opportunities.
Research Trials Overview:
- Trial 1: A Phase III study evaluating two treatment options for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) patients who have not responded to 2-4 prior induction therapies, focusing on relapsed or refractory cases.
- Trial 2: A comparison of LOXO-305 against idelalisib plus rituximab or bendamustine plus rituximab in previously treated patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic leukemia (SLL), particularly those who have previously utilized a BTK inhibitor.
- Trial 3: Assessment of the effectiveness of blinatumomab in treating CD19-positive mixed phenotypic acute leukemia (MPAL) in patients with relapsed/refractory or measurable residual disease (MRD).
- Trial 4: A two-part study of venetoclax combined with AZA and CC-486 to determine the recommended Phase 3 dose for each combination.
- Trial 5: Evaluation of the effectiveness of galinpepimut-S (GPS) versus best available therapy (BAT) in enhancing survival for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) patients in their second or subsequent complete remission.
