Job Title: Transit Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Transit Operator to join our team at the Town of Breckenridge, CO. As a Transit Operator, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient public transportation services to our community.

Job Summary

The primary objective of this position is to provide reliable, safe, and consistent public transportation service. You will be responsible for operating Town buses in a manner that ensures employee and public safety, route and facility efficiency, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Town buses in a safe and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to our passengers
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and maintenance tasks on buses
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • Valid Colorado driver's license
  • CDL B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements or higher class CDL with Passenger endorsement
  • Current Department of Transportation Physical card
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work varied schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Training and Development
