We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to join our team at Rock'N Fish Manhattan Beach. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all who dine with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the open dining room sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
  • Estimate wait times for guests and communicate effectively
  • Monitor the guest waiting list and ensure that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting
  • Answer telephone in a warm, friendly, professional manner
  • Book reservations with our Open Table System
  • Be able to follow instructions in both written and verbal form
  • Thorough knowledge of our food and beverage menu and ability to explain them to guests
Requirements:
  • At least one year of restaurant experience
  • Able to greet and seat customers accurately and efficiently
  • Make a positive impression at all times
  • Guest oriented with high focus on delivering quality service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a team environment
