Job Title: Adjunct Cosmetology Instructor

Job Summary:

Ogeechee Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Cosmetology Instructor to teach in our Cosmetology program. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, demonstrating effective communication skills, and evaluating student progress.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans for classroom instruction
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
• Request and maintain supplies and equipment
• Perform related academic duties, including developing course outlines and ensuring compliance with institutional and accreditation standards

Requirements:

• Diploma in Cosmetology from an accredited institution
• Georgia Master Cosmetology license in good standing
• Three years paid work experience in the field within the past seven years
• Knowledge of State Board requirements on practical application and written testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Georgia Cosmetology Instructor license
• Experience teaching or learning in an online environment
