Inspection Technician Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Inspector to join our team at Daily Instruments Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections, testing, and calibration duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform inspections utilizing various advanced inspection techniques to seek corrosion, defects, or detrimental conditions.
- Interpret indications and report results per company requirements.
- Communicate processes, procedures, and results to customers, engineering, or management staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 6 months' experience in inspections in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work with computers/computerized equipment.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
- Ability to follow written or verbal technical instructions.
- The position is based at a manufacturing/fabrication, climate-controlled shop environment.
- Interaction with other Inspection employees, as well as engineers, supervisors, and third-party inspectors, as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and stand for the majority of an eight-hour workday.
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively.
- Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations.
- Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to perform routine office duties.
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform inspection duties in a fabrication/manufacturing shop.
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
$65,000 - $85,000 per year
