We are seeking an Assembly and Inspection Technician to join our team at Allied Power Group.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and inspecting gas turbine components in a fast-paced shop environment.

About the Job:

This position involves working with a variety of tools and equipment, including air tools and overhead cranes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility and possess a strong understanding of industrial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and disassemble gas turbine components and modules
  • Inspect individual engine modules & components and assess condition
  • Perform quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
  • Interpret dimension and tolerance symbols identified on prints and verify conformance of work pieces to specifications required by prints, specifications, or procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility
  • Experience with the operation of air tools and overhead cranes
  • Possess mechanical aptitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Work Environment:

This position is performed in a shop environment. The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, pull, reach, handle objects weighing over 50 pounds, and work extended hours in cold and hot climates.
