Job Description

At Maxwell Plumb Mechanical, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drainage Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring their drainage systems are functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
  • Must have 1-3 years' experience in this position.
  • Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home, service calls.
  • Provide camera service for every mainline stoppage within 24 hours of the report.
  • Establish strong customer relationships to provide the right products and services.
  • Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer repair and replacement.
  • Help customers select the right maintenance plan and understand warranty information.
  • Explain reasons for blockage and illustrate how you will resolve the issue.
  • Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
  • Present yourself as a professional and knowledgeable expert to win new referrals and repeat business.
  • Work closely with customer service and dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business.
  • Protect drain cleaning and camera equipment and maintain a well-inventoried truck.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats.
  • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and options sheets.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in drain cleaning or related field preferred
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing, digging, and lifting heavy objects
  • Proficient in using cabling machines, hand tools, and heavy equipment for drain maintenance and repair
  • Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques for underground drainage systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of safety procedures when working with high voltage equipment is essential
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
