Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare claims for submission to the Texas Department of Insurance, Workers' Compensation Act
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of claims-related data
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve claims-related issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and education
  • 3-5 years of experience in claims handling, with public entity experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
