Job Overview

Position Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and industrious Infrastructure Operations Expert to join our US infrastructure division. This role primarily involves the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and distribution of our Witbe products across the Americas. You will collaborate closely with our Warehouse team in France, customer care representatives, customer success managers, and the R&D department.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the US Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate product delivery requests and generate/assign technical sub-tasks,
  • Review hardware maintenance requests escalated by customer care and oversee hardware replacements,
  • Prepare product configurations using internal tools,
  • Install system/software and specific configurations on products,
  • Set up Witbe accessories such as Mobile Screener, USB Controller, and Smart TV Screener,
  • Configure and install devices including iOS and Android devices, STB,
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments of our systems, identify potential faulty devices, and troubleshoot hardware and networking issues,
  • Update tickets to communicate progress to the requestor,
  • Package items according to guidelines, providing packing slips for each order,
  • Create shipping labels and monitor delivery status,
  • Maintain communication and track all activities to keep stock inventory current.

Essential Duties:

  • Exhibit reliability and punctuality
  • Capable of performing repetitive physical tasks
  • Lift up to 50 lbs as required
  • Adhere to all written and verbal instructions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly and sealing
  • Ensure production requirements and standards are consistently met
  • Strive to enhance productivity and efficiency without sacrificing quality
  • Report any equipment issues to management
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Display a positive and professional demeanor
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree
  • Strong interest in IT/Networking and emerging technologies
  • Effective communication and writing skills in English
  • Solid understanding of computer networking
  • Basic knowledge of Linux
  • Fundamental Math and Office Excel skills
  • Physically capable of manual labor, including lifting, bending, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse operations (shipping and receiving)
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Experience with VMware ESXi
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management
