Job Overview

Wise Staffing Group is seeking a highly skilled Sorting and Finishing Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our tile production process.

Responsibilities
  • Creation of master samples to determine finished product quality
  • Quality inspection of tiles being processed in Sorting and Polishing
  • Monitoring and maintaining equipment or processes, reporting problems to Supervisor
  • Verifying adherence to packaging and finishing specifications
  • Compliance to Portobello Policies and Procedures
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures for work performed
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Performing mechanical measurements and tests on finished product to verify specifications
  • Operating Automated manufacturing equipment for production processes
  • Operating a forklift for efficient departmental operation
  • Performing other related duties as required
  • Assisting in Inventory control
Requirements
  • Previous manufacturing/production experience
  • Basic math skills, organization skills, detail oriented, and safety conscious
  • Accurate measuring and record keeping skills
  • Ability to climb or balance
