Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement HDL solutions for cutting-edge sensor and communication systems
  • Develop and integrate HDL components for data acquisition, digital signal processing, and high-speed communication protocols
  • Collaborate with software, systems, and mechanical engineers to design and improve embedded firmware systems
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of solutions to meet design goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in FPGA design and development
  • Proficiency in VHDL and Verilog
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGAs and the Vivado design environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital signal processing, software-defined radios, and RF system design
  • Knowledge of Matlab, Simulink, and HDLCoder
  • Experience with real-time control of RF front-end, memories, and high-speed interfaces
