Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Central Hospital For Animals. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for clients and their pets
- Greets and welcomes clients, answers questions, and triages concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
- Schedules appointments, checks in and checks out clients, and processes payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Provides emotional support to clients and their pets during times of need, maintaining a calm and empathetic demeanor
- Works effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Collaborates with the veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient care
- 1+ year of experience in a veterinary or medical reception setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and professional attitude
- Basic computer skills, with experience in practice management software a plus
