Job Summary

As a Hartford Companion Care Specialist with ABI Resources, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and TBI live and recover at home. You will work closely with our supportive and inclusive team culture, ensuring exceptional care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of amazing people and families across Connecticut.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments
  • Provide assistance with all aspects of home and community life
  • Ensure consistent safety and health
  • Offer personal hygiene and dressing support
  • Assist with shopping, cooking, and cleaning

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience working with disabilities (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • 18 years or older

Benefits:
  • Fair compensation: $33,280 - $74,880 per year
